Even a movie like Velvet Buzzsaw, which I personally didn’t care for, deserves to premiere at a prestigious festival. The film stars Seána Kerslake, James Cosmo, Kati Outinen, Simone Kirby, Steve Wall and James Quinn Markey. It also has a huge hole in the ground. Don’t get me wrong, though, there’s plenty to like about this film. Keep in mind paranormal films aren't my cup of tea so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. That’s a bet I’m willing to take when it comes to horror and this one might have gone the way I expected it to but it also avoided the typical clichés while still setting them up.
